Naira Marley's music is a kickback. Each song in this set is a subtle breeze going through my hammock while my feet are angled tremendously. Naira's recipe for the groove is a combination of many different languages that are then combined into a specific pocket. This pocket is so specific when "O'dun" comes on that feels so independent of the rest of the set and once it hits there is this Jazz element that I absolutely love. The word "vibe" is sometimes tossed around as a buzzword but this is a laidback masterpiece that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Live music is a premium and if with concert season in full swing make sure you take full advantage of seeing artists like Naira in person when you can.
