If you are listening to the Kendrick Lamar album and like me digging through the production credits like a mad man than you'll see one name in there that should stand out. Duval Timothy is a multi-disciplinary artist from South London that I've know about for few years and seeing his name on the credits was amazing. Duval has this very calming frantic approach to composing that feels exactly what you'll need on this Friday morning after listening to some Kung Fu Kenny rapping your face off.
Out of the four tracks that Duval produced on I think that "Father Time" with Sampha is that beautifully delicate dance of aggressive soul that makes me love what Kendrick is cooking up now. Thanks Duval.
Take these and relax for the rest of the day or just take a listen and go over to the Hallway profile and co-sign off on a few things.
